I destroyed my Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 on Thursday night while on a stag trip to Germany (Turns out phones and fire-extinguishers don’t mix)

So on my return to blighty I had to get a replacement. The 2nd hand shop next door to my house had 3 Android phones in the window so I googled each of them to find out which one had the best spec and could be modified best/easiest.

I chose the Motorola Defy (also because it is waterproof and virtually bomb proof)

I now have it set up the way I want it (and pretty much how I had the X10)

The Defy only had Android 2.1 on it when I got it and the processor was clocked to 800mhz. I now have it running at the same speed as the X10 (1000mhz) and I have it running Gingerbread (Android 2.3) I have also under-volted the CPU to reduce the battery consumption.
